Halifax, Nova Scotia (Canada)
From: Diane

Hi everyone! Yesterday was a holiday here in Halifax, Nova Scotia (Canada). It was our Natal Day/Civic holiday so a lot of events were scheduled, but the highlight was an afternoon concert by Bon Jovi.

About 20,000 people crammed onto Citadel Hill in the scorching sun, and I was one of them. Bon Jovi came on at 4:55 p.m. and played for 2 hours. They started off with "Rockin' All Over the World".

They sang quite a few songs from "Slippery" plus a couple from both "New Jersey" and "KTF" as well as "Always" and "Someday I'll be..." from "Crossroads". "Hey God" was the only song from "These Days". I had kinda been expecting "TAALS" and hoping for a couple others. Anyway, here's the whole setlist. (The first 5 and last 4 are in actual performance order)

Rockin' All Over the World
Livin' On a Prayer
You Give Love a Bad Name
Wild in the Streets
Keep the Faith
I'd Die For You
Hey God
With a Little Help From My Friends
Shout
Jumpin' Jack Flash
Midnight Rider
Na Na Na Na (the good-bye song)
Blood on Blood
Blaze of Glory
Lay Your Hands on Me
I'll Sleep When I'm Dead
Runaway
Bad Medicine
Encore:

Always
Wanted Dead or Alive
Someday I'll be Saturday Night
BTW, the highlight of the show for me actually happened on the way to the concert. We were driving past the Prince George Hotel just as Jon came out and walked about 4 steps into a Budget Rent a Car van. His head was tipped down slightly, but he wasn't wearing sunglasses and there was no mistaking who he was. Those few seconds will be implanted in my memory forever.

Yesterday was the second time I've seen Bon Jovi live and hope it won't be the last time. If you get a chance to see them in concert, make sure you go. You won't regret it!
