Chords

Verse 1
I was [Csus4]walking around, just a [Dsus4]face in the crowd,
tryin' to [Esus4]keep myself out of the [Esus4]rain
Saw a [Csus4]vagabond king wear a [Dsus4]styrofoam crown,
wondered [Esus4]if I might end up the [Esus4]same
There's a [Csus4]man out on the [Dsus4]corner,
[Esus4]singing old songs ab[Csus4]out change[Csus4]
Everybody got their [Dsus4]cross to bare, these [G]days.

Verse 2
She came [Csus4]looking for some [Dsus4]shelter with a [Esus4]suitcase full of [Esus4]dreams
To a [Csus4]motel room on the [Dsus4]boulevard I guess she's [Esus4]trying to be James [Esus4]Dean
She's [Csus4]seen all the dis[Dsus4]ciples and [Esus4]all the 'wanna [Esus4]be's
[Csus4]no one wants to [Csus4]be themselfs these[Em] days [Em]
Still there's [Csus4]nothing to hold [Dsus4]on to but these[G] days[]

Chorus
These [C]days the [D]stars ain't out of [Em]reach [Em]
These [C]days there ain't a [D]ladder from the [G]streets, oh[G] no no
These [C]days are fast, [D]nothing lasts [G]in this graceless [C]age
There [C]ain't nobody [D]left but us these[G] days[G (ring out)]

Verse 3
Jimmy shoes busted both his legs, trying to learn to fly
From a second story window, he just jumped and closed his eyes
His momma said he was crazy - he said momma "I've got to try" Don't you know that all my heroes died
And I guess I rather die f f f fade away - yeah

Chorus
These days the stars ain't out of reach
But these days there ain't a ladder from the streets, oh no no
These days are fast, nothing lasts it's a graceless age
Even [C]innocence has [D]caught the midnight [Em]train [Em]
There [C]ain't nobody [D]left but us these[G] days [G (ring out)]

Bridge

These Days- Jon Bon Jovi.
Great song, one of my favourites. It was the first Jon Bon Jovi song
which i picked up on my guitar.I have not been able to pick up all the tabs, as soon as i do ,i'll put them up......Here's how it goes-

Intro (Gsus4- Asus4-Bsus4)(6x) The plucking part is done like this--
Hold the chord Gsus4 and pluck strings in the order 5,3,4,2,3,4,5, now pull
it to Asus4 and repeat the same there, and finally when u come at Bsus4 pluck the
strings in the order 5,3,4,2,3,1,2, and after this pull the chord back to Gsus4
accompanied with two power strokes.Enjoy!!!.

Verse 1
Gsus4 Asus4 Bsus4
I was walking around, just a face in the crowd try to keep myself out of the rain
Gsus4 Asus4 Bsus4
