Philadelphia Inquirer article
Apparently all the world is a stage for Bon Jovi, which just announced more 2011 concert dates, extending the Circle Tour to Philadelphia, Lisbon, Athens and Istanbul, to name some of the stops.
Presale and VIP tickets for the March 2 gig at Philly's Wells Fargo Center go on sale Monday, according to http://live2011tour.bonjovi.com/tour, but no date has been set yet for the regular admission seats.
Also added were dates for Penn State (Feb. 9), Pittsburgh (Feb. 11), and New York's Madison Square Garden (Feb. 24 and 25).
The Jersey band will also be getting plenty of multimedia face time in November.
On Nov. 8, more than 500 movie theaters will have a one-night screening of Bon Jovi - The Circle Tour, a film shot in May as the band inaugurated the New Meadowlands Stadium in East Rutherord, N.J.
The next day, Bon Jovi - Greatest Hits will be out, with several previously unreleased songs.
Also on Nov. 9, Bon Jovi will be part of "Live on Letterman," a webcast spinoff of CBS's Late Show With David Letterman. Apparently, after appearing on the show, the band will do an on-demand concert available through www.cbs.com/late_night/liveonletterman.
