When she kicked off her final 25th season earlier this year, Oprah Winfrey surprised 300 audience members with the news that they would be accompanying the Queen of All Media on a special eight-day seven-night trip called, “Oprah’s Ultimate Australian Adventure”. In addition to flying Quantas Airways to Sydney and partaking of the all the exhilaration and beauty the Land Down Under has to offer, The Daily Telegraph reports that Bon Jovi will be performing a special show for Lady O, her guests, and a Who’s Who of Australian celebrities and dignitaries.

Shortly after announcing her trip in the premiere episode of her final season, Ms. Winfrey said,

"I wanted to kick off my 25th season in a big way, and I've heard Australia is the ultimate adventure. It's one of the places I've always wanted to visit, and who better to take with me on this trip of a lifetime than some of my most loyal viewers? My team has been planning this trip for almost a year, and we are so excited to go Down Under."

When announced, the original plan was for the Oprah Show to tape at the Sydney Opera House---re-christened the Oprah House---for a show on December 14, with a second show to be taped the same week, and both aired sometime in 2011.
