Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora will release his third solo album, ‘Aftermath of the Lowdown’ on September 4, Brave Words reported today (June 24). The album will be on indie label Dangerbird Records, with whom he signed back in May.
“I’m really excited to work with Dangerbird,” he told Rolling Stone at the time. “Jeff [Castelaz, the label co-founder] is an unbelievable guy and I’ve been having great meetings with him.”
‘Aftermath of the Lowdown’ is produced by Luke Ebbin, who has worked with Sambora before on Bon Jovis’ ‘Crush’ and ‘Bounce’ albums. Despite having two other albums under his belt, Sambora is still trying to break free from the perception that he is “only” the lead guitarist in Bon Jovi.
