WEST Australian Bon Jovi fans can breathe a sigh of relief - the American rock band will be heading west as part of their Australian summer stadium tour.

Following last week’s Because We Can tour announcement, which was missing a Perth date, it has been confirmed that the band will squeeze in a performance at Perth Arena on December 12.

Concertgoers will be treated to a string of hits from Bon Jovi’s extensive back catalogue as well as numbers from their latest album, What About Now and debuted at No. 1 on the ARIA album chart.

The band, which has performed more than 2,700 concerts in over 50 countries in front of than 35 million fans throughout their career, kicked off the Because We Can tour in February and is making its way around the world including dates in US, Europe and Africa.

WA punters will also be offered the discounted $35 ticket option made available in other cities.

“We wanted to help every Bon Jovi fan get past all the economic doom and gloom and come along to what will be without doubt the best concert of 2013,” said promoter Paul Dainty.

“This band totally delivers live on every level and I don’t think we’ve seen tickets from $35 for a topline act like Bon Jovi for many years, so this should be a great big Christmas party for fans.”
