Yahoo_Host1:Wow,

Yahoo_Host1: He'll be here in just about a minutes.
Yahoo_Host1: Keep sending in your questions by typing them in the ask a question bar a the
bottom of your screen.
Yahoo_Host1: And make sure you check out his new website - www.richiesambora.com
Yahoo_Host1: Richie Sambora has joined us in the chat room!
richie_sambora_live: Hello everybody, how ya doing?
richie_sambora_live: Thanks for joining me today!
kgofswg1: When is Richie releasing his solo album?
richie_sambora_live: Actually, very soon. i'm in the process of doing a deal Edel Records.
richie_sambora_live: It's a European based company, the largest independent in the world.
richie_sambora_live: It will be a compilation of my first 2 solo albums and 3 or 4 new tracks.
shemystery2000: Hi, Rich, i saw several of the european gigs next year and had a GREAT time!
Are u looking forward to the upcoming tour?
richie_sambora_live: Absolutely!
richie_sambora_live: We have a brand new production and we've put the dates on sale
somewhere in November, they're selling really well.
richie_sambora_live: We also will be putting out a live record to coincide with the tour, both in
America and in Europe.
jaquillabj: Richie, how many hours a day to you practise guitar these days?
richie_sambora_live: It depends. Though I practise, I usually don't do scales or anything like
that.
richie_sambora_live: It's just writing songs or playing and singing around the house.
manolis_varnassinger: richie i wanna say that BON JOVI is the best of the best bands in rock
music what do you think that is keeping you together all these years now.
richie_sambora_live: We enjou doint it still
richie_sambora_live: Number two.
richie_sambora_live: Obviously, the fans.
richie_sambora_live: If there wasn't public demand, we wouldn't do it.
richie_sambora_live: And we're still making music that's contemporary and that means a lot to
us. We don't ever want to be considered nostalgic.
riesambo: Do you have a plan to collaborate with someone near the future? Who would you like
to colloaborate with in the future? And do you want to do with any other kind of artist?
richie_sambora_live: I have no plans at the moment to collaborate with anyone, but there's a
lot of people I dig working with.
richie_sambora_live: I just did a thing in Miami called The Sand Castle.
richie_sambora_live: 30 of the greates songwriters in the world got together and wrote
together.
richie_sambora_live: It was a real blast and some of those songs should be showing up on my
solo album.
lovin_bonjovi: where do you get your insperation for you wonderful song writing?
richie_sambora_live: For those wonderful little ditties I write, eh?
richie_sambora_live: I think they come from a lot of my own feelings, obviously.
richie_sambora_live: and also writing from the point of an observer,
richie_sambora_live: The way other people deal with life.
richie_sambora_live: But mostly it's my own heart, my own life experience, that really gives me
inspiration.
richie_sambora_live: It used to be naked women that gave me inspiration.
richie_sambora_live: Now it's only one.
richie_sambora_live: One naked woman.
richie_sambora_live: My wife.
jovian_finland: Hey Ritchie, greeting from Finland!! You excited about you new website?
richie_sambora_live: Very excited!
richie_sambora_live: Thanks for logging on.
richie_sambora_live: Log on, dudes!
cool_guy_it: Hi Richie! You're the real thing! I wanted to know if your next solo work will have
some bluesy stuff or something in common with you previous records. Thanks a lot man, you're
the best!
richie_sambora_live: You know, every record is obviously an evolution.
richie_sambora_live: At this point, I'm not sure exactly where we're going to go.
richie_sambora_live: I just started writing for this particular record.
richie_sambora_live: There are only going to be 3 or 4 new sons. Obviously a leading ballad
on there somewhere so i can throw down some guitar.
richie_sambora_live: And hopefully one good rock & roll single.
jam_wi: Do you still jam in bars on off nights?
richie_sambora_live: Sometimes.
richie_sambora_live: You know, actually we've been pretty busy up until the holidays. Definitely
when we're on the road. We show up and see people play. They see us and call us up.
richie_sambora_live: Like The House of Blues and various fine establishments like that one.
shariblackvelvet: Even though you've been in the music biz for a long time and know a lot, do
you ever learn from new, up and coming bands? Or even any of the bands who have supported
you?
richie_sambora_live: Absolutely. You never stop learning and that's the great thing about the
music business. I can't really recite one event. You learn from wathing and listening.
richie_sambora_live: Every time you listen to a record, it's like reading a book. Listening habits
are very very important.
angiebyde: Fancy being a movie star then Rich?
richie_sambora_live: No. Not really.
richie_sambora_live: I get acting jobs thrown at me all the time. One this morning, actually.
richie_sambora_live: But I'm just too busy making music at this point. I think if someone asked
me to do a Stevie Ray Vaughn story, I'd have to consider that.
richie_sambora_live: I think I'd be a pretty good actor if I tried.
maryovino: Richie will you do any of your solo stuff on the upcoming European tour? If so
please do River Of Love.. I LOVE that song!
richie_sambora_live: Probably!
richie_sambora_live: I don't really know.
richie_sambora_live: Maybe.
richie_sambora_live: I have done it in the past.
richie_sambora_live: Some versions of Stranger In This Town.
richie_sambora_live: Hard, Fast & Easy.
richie_sambora_live: You never know.
shariblackvelvet: One of your albums is called Undiscovered Soul. Is there anything about
yourself that you think has still to be discovered by fans and critics or others?
richie_sambora_live: Sure! basically, everything. i don't think either of my solo albums were
every really exploited properly.
richie_sambora_live: due to record politics and such. probably because I was stil with Bon
Jovi.
richie_sambora_live: That makes me look forward to the place where I will be discovered at
some point.
kngtigga: I hear you set your action high on your guitars.. Is that true? and why? Is it the bite?
The tone? Please eloborate!
richie_sambora_live: Yes, that's true. I like fight of higher action because when you get out
there playing live in front of 80,000 people you have so much energy that if it was too low, my
hands would be running off the strings.
richie_sambora_live: And the tone too. Makes it a little bit better.
kingswinger69: My boy Ryan, is 3 and a half, and worships the ground you walk on. He takes
out his little faux-stratocaster and closes his eyes, gets in that zones and does his best Richie
impersonation all over the house, problem is he knock over the furniture. Any hints for his
development as a guitarist. Have you purchased Ava a little faux stratocaster yet?
richie_sambora_live: You have to wait until his hands can fit around the neck because if not
he'll get discouraged.
richie_sambora_live: I imagine the prime age to be would be 6 or 7.
richie_sambora_live: But tell the little tyke to stop knocking over the furniture!!!!
jan-wi: Do you record all your stuff with Pro Tools now?
richie_sambora_live: No. Actually not.
richie_sambora_live: Some of it, though.
richie_sambora_live: It makes it easy to manipulate sound in that sonic way, but you lose
something in the recording.
richie_sambora_live: So I use both Analog and digital recording methods.
martt83: hey Richie! just wonderin, i saw the performance in zurich 2000, when you did "Wanted
Dead or Alive"was the hat and SRV "vibed" guitar a tribute to the great man himself? love ya
man!
richie_sambora_live: I love Stevie, but honestly I wasn't aware of Stevie when I started to wear
the hat. I was a late fan.
richie_sambora_live: But the guitar I used on stage that evening does look a lot like his.
richie_sambora_live: That's probably why I bougth it, because I'm a huge fan of his.
richie_sambora_live: And we shared the same hat.
Ishawville: Are you excited about the grammy's nominations and will Bon Jovi be attending?
richie_sambora_live: We won't be performing, but we will be attending. Hopefully winning.
richie_sambora_live: There will be a lot of great competitors, so it should be a tight race.
RDatNMC: Richie - just a quick Thank You for all the great music. I love both of your solos. You
are so talented! What do you like better- do a band record or a solo record?
richie_sambora_live: Depending on my mood... I enjoy both of them. I'm lucky to have 2
record deals.
richie_sambora_live: It's great to be in a great rock & roll band like Bon Jovi, and it's great to
be individually artistic.
coentje2002: What do you prefer: a big stadium or the intimacy of a small club ( for instance to do
an acoustic set)?
richie_sambora_live: A big stadium!
richie_sambora_live: I like the big events, they're a lot of fun. The other thing I prefer
arenas. I just like the vibe. when I was a kid, I used to go see bands and loved the arenas. To
be up there doing them... in the dark!
olga-bj: We heard that Steven Tyler played on the Undiscovered Soul record, which songs was
that?
richie_sambora_live: He played on the song called "If God Was A Woman"
richie_sambora_live: If you look on my solo album, Lippy Larue is the pseudonym for him.
richie_sambora_live: We didn't even want to bother asking about the contractual stuff on him,
so we just called him that. Regarding his great big mouth. His lips are infamous! They've been
everywhere!
jimmyshoes1: How much control do you have over the choice of you support bands?
richie_sambora_live: All fo it.
richie_sambora_live: Absolutely
richie_sambora_live: It's the one business that the record company doesn't have any control
over. The live gig. Everything from ticket prices to merchandising. They don't have any control
over that.
rsamborocks: I know that you seem to listen to newer music, what new albums have you been
listening to and enjoying?
richie_sambora_live: I'm a very diversified listerner. there's a lot of new bands out ther right now.
richie_sambora_live: I try to buy 5 new albums a week.
richie_sambora_live: I like Vertical Horizon
richie_sambora_live: Nine days
richie_sambora_live: Lit
richie_sambora_live: Creed
richie_sambora_live: Foo fighters
lianacaria: Hey Richie..=) Is Bon Jovi coming to Brazil with the CRUSH TOUR?????
richie_sambora_live: Not sure yet. We really don't know exactly. We'd love to. We've been
there with every tour in the past.
jdoule102: I think you and Heather are a great couple. What makes your marriage so good?
richie_sambora_live: Love, I guess.
richie_sambora_live: We're in love! That's makes it good.
richie_sambora_live: Everything.
richie_sambora_live: Everything is good.
shemystery2000: Richie, have u checked out some fan sites already? If so, what do you think of
them in general?
richie_sambora_live: I really haven't. The only one is this one we're working off of right now
which is excellent. We're very excited about it and it's going to conitinue to evolve over the
years, so LOG ON, man!
svenja_du: Will there ever be a Richie Sambora solotour in europe?
richie_sambora_live: Probably not this time.
richie_sambora_live: I don't think I'll have time, because I think Bon Jovi will go right back into
the studio to make another album after this one because we've gained so much momentum.
richie_sambora_live: So the next Richie Sambora tour will be... I don't know when.. a long
time.
wemmy1: Hey Richie, My name is Rosie and I'm from Melbourne Australia. Thanks for the song
title Rosie on your first solo album... it made my life!
richie_sambora_live: No problem!
richie_sambora_live: That song was actually about a girl I knew.
lazyktfa: Is it true that Heather sang backing vocals on Graceland?
richie_sambora_live: Yes
richie_sambora_live: We had so much fun in the studio. I had to get her in there to sing.
cheylsawyer: Hi Richie. Cool that you're doing this. How do you feel about being compared to
guitarist like Eric Clapton? Do you feel you know all there is by now or are you still learning
from the greats? The other greats, that is.
richie_sambora_live: Still learning from the greats. Obviously still learning from them, and
enjoying every minute of it
richie_sambora_live: It's nice that people compare me, but i don't compare me.
maribj1000: Why do your friends call you mook? Is that true?
richie_sambora_live: LOL! Actually, it was a nickname that was give to me by
richie_sambora_live: Jon's kid. he called my uncle mooky. i don't know why.
rockchick1000uk: How did playing The Meadowlands Arena compare to playing Wembley?
richie_sambora_live: Wembley stadium is bigger!
richie_sambora_live: The Meadowlands is actually a pain in the ass because all your friends
and family show up and you have to give away ticket!
richie_sambora_live: I'm telling the truth here, everyone! Log on!
DrFire123: how do you remember EVERY chord for EVERY song?
richie_sambora_live: Oh, geez.
richie_sambora_live: After a while, it becomes like autopilot.
richie_sambora_live: Once it becomes like that, you can work off the emotion of the song.
That's what makes it professional.
renate_from_austria: I just saw pics from your house in the instyle magazine!! It's amazing!!
Have you already wrote a song there?
richie_sambora_live: It's a brand-new house, so I haven't actually written there yet, but intend
to do so.
djmom5398: Congrats on you Gibson award nomination. Is that a big deal to you?
richie_sambora_live: Sure. Anytime that anyone wants to give you accolades, obviously it's an
honor. It's lovely. I hope I win.
martt83: Richie, which guitar solo in Bon JOvi do you get most emotional drained doing when
performing in concerts?
richie_sambora_live: they don't actually drain me. They're all a lot of fun. The longest ones,
obviously. Like Keep the Faith. or 100 years.
richie_sambora_live: Just because they go on longer. You have to put more into it.
richie_sambora_live: It's all good.
newjerseybrit: Any plans for a B-side box set?
richie_sambora_live: Yeah, at one point.
richie_sambora_live: We're thinking about is as a 20 year anniversary in 2003. there will be
tracks no one has ever heard of before. Live stuff. jst a cacophony of stuff1
ingridjovigirl: How did your life change being a Dad now? What influences does it have on you
mucis
richie_sambora_live: There's just less time to make it!
richie_sambora_live: It obviously increases your compassion. Your patience. Your
selflessness. You definitely have more patience for other people's problems.
candy_selby: Richie- how do you feel about Napster? Do you mind people downloading all the
cool BJ music?
richie_sambora_live: Yes. I think Napster is basically thievery and it they don't watch out,
they're going to break down the quality of the music. People are not going to make it for free. It
gets more expensive te make music as time goes on. So they should stop it. Or at least figure
out a way to make it where it's fair to all parties involved.
Doodleday: Hi Richie! It's beena great year for Bon Jovi! What is the next video that will be
released? I am hoping for Just Older.
richie_sambora_live: It depends exactly where you are in the world, because the singles and
videos are release in different order in different parts of the world.
richie_sambora_live: But I think the next video we're going to be shooting is for One Wild Night.
rleune: Yo Rick, What kind of Job would you have ( or what would you do) probably if you weren't
a SUPERB guitar player and not musically talented?
richie_sambora_live: I don't know. I've always wanted to be a musician ever since I was a kid.
richie_sambora_live: Psychology was a field that interested me in college.
ifgodwas_awoman: How many pairs of sunglasses do you have up to now in your collection?
richie_sambora_live: I don't know.
richie_sambora_live: 50?
richie_sambora_live: 50 pairs maybe?
richie_sambora_live: A man can never have enought shades.
richie_sambora_live: That's my quote for the day.
richie_sambora_live: Richie, why did you decide to lose the Floyd? You've also convinced me to like
"vintage" gear!
richie_sambora_live: My style just changed.
richie_sambora_live: You know, my style has envolved through out the years and it just became
more natural to use the vintage stuff.
jovigal: If you win the Grammy.. Do you have a speach prepared already? Or will you wint-it??
richie_sambora_live: No! I'd probably just wing it. I'd thank basically my record company and
management and my family and my fans and God. So I'd just go up there and let the moment
happen.
riesambo: Do you read message board and fan mails sent to your official site? There are bunch
of guitarist on the board. Do you have a plan like a guitar clinic on your web site or something
with them??
richie_sambora_live: That's good possibility. A good idea.
richie_sambora_live: Certainly down the road, that will be a consideration.
been-crushed: Where did you buy those FUNKY pants?
richie_sambora_live: You know, I wouldn't even know. I'm not one for shopping.
richie_sambora_live: I have a stylist come in. She brings me a bunch of a different stuff. My
wife and my assistant, Stephanie, pick them out. i have nothing to do with it.
sacha2000_5665: Have YOU ever concidered a COMEDIAN carreer?? You would be fabulous
for it.
richie_sambora_live: LOL
richie_sambora_live: Actually, no
richie_sambora_live: But I like keeping things light
aragorn2de: What do you want to express with "Rest in Peace'?
richie_sambora_live: I was reading a lot of Shakespeare at that point and I was equating love
and death. I was going through some dark place in my emotional equation of love. I'm sure that
freaks people out. That's what I meant to do, though.
BrianJarvis_98: Hi Richie, what is your favourite songs from your solo albums? I love The
Answer I think it is fantastic!
richie_sambora_live: Thank you.
richie_sambora_live: My first solo album in total to this point has been my biggest artistic
achievement.
richie_sambora_live: I don't think I''ll ever be as free from responsibillity again to be that totally
free, artistically.
jshaya2000: Richie, do you have any regrets in your career.
richie_sambora_live: not many
richie_sambora_live: if i had to do it all over again, I'd do it mostly the same.
fatlou316: Richie: When is Bon Jovi returning to the New York/ New Jersey area?
richie_sambora_live: Right now, I think Giant Stadium is booked for somewhere around the
end of july which will be around the end of the tour. I'm not sure exactly what the dates are, but
we're going to try to wind it up big, back at home!
lovemy2bjs: Can you ever get used to 80,000 people screaming you name? How do you
describe that feeling?
richie_sambora_live: Well, obviously it's a privelege anytime you can walk out in front of all
thos people. Not many people get to do that. You have to be cool or else your head will blow
off.l You got to maintain cool. But it's very exciting.
point_guard24: hey Richie, what was your first guitar implifier?
richie_sambora_live: It was an Ampeg B-15
lovemy2bjs: Whar are you parents like? Where they always supportive of you musical carreer?
richie_sambora_live: Yes, they were. Until I wanted to quit college to join the circus. The
musical circus, that is. They got a little worried. But they still were supportive.
richie_sambora_live: They knew I was going to do it anyway.
itz_a_smile: what kind of songs do you like best to perform live? Ballad or rock & roll songs?
richie_sambora_live: I like it all, to be honest with you. They're all well-needed in the realm of
performing. It's all good. I like them all.
kingoswing2001: Richie, what was it like the day that slippery when wet went through the roof?
richie_sambora_live: The beginning of a rocket ship ride that still hasn't stopped!
richie_sambora_live: As far as days go.
richie_sambora_live: that's a good one.
crush2001nl: What is the big difference with Bon Jovi in the early days and Bon Jovi now?
richie_sambora_live: I think then we were more into living the lifestyle. Now it's much more
about the music. though we put on really good live shows and were dedicated to that.
luchorock: which is you favorite song on slippery?
richie_sambora_live: They would have to be.
richie_sambora_live: Living on a Prayer
richie_sambora_live: and
richie_sambora_live: Wanted- dead or alive
been_crushed: What about ITALY? Any concert planned?
richie_sambora_live: Yes, I hope so! Usually we play in Milan or something like that.
restless_2uk: What was your most ermbarrassing moment on stage?
richie_sambora_live: I think probably when we first played Madison Square for the first time,
opening for ZZ Top. I was supposed to start the show with a guitar solo. I went out and hit the
first chord.
richie_sambora_live: And my amplifier blew up.
richie_sambora_live: And the crowd started the chant...
richie_sambora_live: ZZ TOP, ZZ TOP, ZZ TOP.
richie_sambora_live: The longest seconds of my life.
richie_sambora_live: It took forever to change the head.
jbond1001: Is there going to be a Best of Bon Jovi vol 2?
richie_sambora_live: I'm not sure. Probably. Thank God we do have enough hits to make that
happen. At some point in time, but I'm not sure when that might actually transpire.
sally_jo_sambora: Richie i've seen u 3 times at wembley and seeing u 7 times this year- how do
u manage 2 keep at such a constant? u give your all every time and have me blown away by
the end of each concert! How do u do it?!
richie_sambora_live: Wow! Thanks!!!
richie_sambora_live: I think it's just what we do. It comes from physical and emotional
richie_sambora_live: You're able to give that much on a daily basis. If you do it all the time, ou
continue to be able to do it.
jovibsb2001: richie i am in this chat room at the risk of losing my job... i just wanted to say that i
love you and the band and have been a fan since 1983... your music will always be special to
me..
richie_sambora_live: Thank you very much. Go back to your job! I don't want you to los your
job!!
sacha2000_5665"What did YOU wish for at the fountain in Rome... when you threw the coin in?
richie_sambora_live: That the song would become a hit!
jldgratz: Will you guys ever perform Wild is the Wind?
richie_sambora_live: We have done it. I'm not sure if we ever will again, but we have done it
before
milhouse_1977: Any reason behind clubs etc that you played on your solo tour down under?
richie_sambora_live: That's because the promotors in Australia told me to play there. I actually
wanted to do theatres, but there wasn't enough theatres to play. So I went and played clubs.
leejovi: are there any songs-hits even you've written or written that you dislike now?
richie_sambora_live: No. Not really
richie_sambora_live: I guess if I really thought about it, there's probably one or two songs that i
haven't like. Bus usually if the song makes the record, it's had to go through a lot to get there.
kgofswg12: As the proud owner of the 21st Ovation doubleneck, I was wondering if richie's site
will have a section on all his music gear?
richie_sambora_live: That's a good idea.
richie_sambora_live: Eventually we will.
richie_sambora_live: Thanks for buying that guitar. It's pretty cool. I've got one. You, me, and
Jimmy Page are probably the only people who own them at this point.
richie_sambora_live: How much did you pay for it? I just want to know
crush_for_bonjovi: What is the best part of your carrer? Playing with Bon
Jovi? Being a solo artist? Meeting other rock celebrities?
richie_sambora_live: Definitely not meeting other celebrities?
richie_sambora_live: Anytime you have a #1 record or you're playing in front of a sold-out
stadium, that's pretty good. And also anytime you get to do your own music, emotionall that's
pretty great.
crush_for_bonjovi: Are you aware you are one of the best guitarist on earth?
richie_sambora_live: Thank you very much, but i'm unaware of that. There a great musicians
on every corner of the face of the earth.
richie_sambora_live: But thank you, I'm glad you think so.
onelight_uk: PLEAAAAASSSEEEE ask just one of my questions. Richie I love the
track Stay how come it didn't make Crush it is absolutely brilliant as everything you guys do is
Love ya heaps by the way.
richie_sambora_live: I'm sorry, I don't even remember it. Bon Jovi has written & recorded so
many songs, I'm havind a hard time recalling that particular track.
richie_sambora_live: But thank you anyway..
jldgratz: Any changes in the play list this time around? Still playing the slower version of
Runaway?
richie_sambora_live: We haven't even spoke about it. Jon's doing a movie in Mexico right now.
He's killing vampires as we speak.
richie_sambora_live: When we get to it, we'll talk about it. Obviously we'll play around with it
this summer
x_xxxmisfitsxxx_x: what was the first song you ever masterd on guitar?
richie_sambora_live: Probably.... One Way Out by the Almond Brothers.
liekebenard: What are the things of being a rockstar that you hate?
richie_sambora_live: The one part is... I wish someone could invent that thing on Star Trek,
that transporter.
richie_sambora_live: But it seems like I get paid to travel now, not play. With a family that's the
hardest part.
richie_sambora_live: Sometimes the intrusion of the media can be bothersome, but all together
they've been kind..... knock on wood.
boneovi: Great music legend get their tribute Albums and now U, what do feel about it?
richie_sambora_live: Someone is making one. Honestly, i think it's phenomenal. I'm very
surprised. I thinks it's a lovely thing. I'm flattered to death. or flattered alive.
jshaya2000: Richie, why don't you play your intro solo to Wanted anymore.
richie_sambora_live: Good question, I did it for so many years, I think now we just go into it.
maybe we'll start to do it again. I used to love that acoustic work-out.
leejovi: richie how involved in your website are you?
richie_sambora_live: Very involved.
katt_au2001 When are you coming to Australia? Please come we love you!!
richie_sambora_live: We're going to be doing a couple of things there, I believe, either at the
end of March or the beginning of April. A couple of special gigs there. Like storytellers
acoustically
richie_sambora_live: But don't quote me on that.
richie_sambora_live: It's in the works.
onelight_uk: Richie I love the new updated version of Runaway did you have any input into how
it was revamped or did Jon take the lead on the re-working?
richie_sambora_live: Basically, I was getting really tired of playing that song the way it used to
be. We played is so much. I went to him and said that maybe if it was done a mysterious
underlying musical thing, maybe the lyrics would come out in an particular way. Of course, I had
nothing to do with the writing of that particular piece of music, so i just put my 2 cents in.
racheljovi2000: Did you enjoy making Storytellers?
richie_sambora_live: I did enjoy making it.
wolves9170: will story teller be availible to us?
richie_sambora_live: it was a gas
richie_sambora_live: if you're going to play a small club, that's a great wat to do it.
richie_sambora_live: The last time I toured europe, when i was playing the theatres, especially
in London, I sat at the edge of the stage an took request from the audience.
richie_sambora_live: I love it. shows the men... from the boys.
jovikane26: are there bars again on stage at the "one wild night"tour?
richie_sambora_live: yep, i don't think they're going to be traditional bars because we'll get in
trouble if we start serving liquor and people have to drive home, but there will be places for
people to hang out
amy51267: What is your favorite Bon Jovi album?
richie_sambora_live: I guess Slippery When wet would be a favorite and probably the new
album crush.
richie_sambora_live: although there are good stuff on all of them
sherock28: who were your greates idols in music and why?
richie_sambora_live: let's see. The beatles, obviously, have to be #1
richie_sambora_live: Bob Dylan as a songwriter
richie_sambora_live: Eric Clapton
richie_sambora_live:Jimmi Hendrix
richie_sambora_live: Jimmy Page
richie_sambora_live: All the modern day blues players
richie_sambora_live: and the old ones
richie_sambora_live: yeah, the beatles would be a prime influence
self766: Are there going to be special guests on the show this year?
richie_sambora_live: i'm not sure exactly
richie_sambora_live: there's some talk of sr71
richie_sambora_live: matchbox 20 or something
richie_sambora_live: it's all up in the air at this point.
