You just hate the award shows, don't you? Well if you don't, here are some more disappointing news for Bon Jovi fans:

2001 GIBSON GUITAR AWARDS
2001 Gibson Guitar Awards ceremony was held Tuesday, 20 February 2001. Richie was nominated for "Best Rock Guitarist (Male)" along with The Edge (U2), Peter Frampton, John Frusciante (Red Hot Chili Peppers), Walter Becker (Steely Dan) and Dave Grohl (Foo Fighters). DAVE GROHL, former drummer of Nirvana and guitarist/leader of the Foo Fighters won the award.

Jon Bon Jovi was nominated for "Best Acoustic Guitarist (Male)" along with Beck, Matt Odmark (Jars of Clay) and Bob Dylan. MATT ODMARK from the multi-platinum selling Christian rock group, Jars of Clay won the award.

43rd ANNUAL (2001) GRAMMY AWARDS
No grammys for Bon Jovi. The band was nominated for two grammys, "Best Rock Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocal" for "It's My Life" and "Best Rock Album" for "CRUSH".
