FROM therockradio.com:
Bon Jovi and Sugarland shot their episode of Crossroads for CMT on Tuesday night (August 9th) at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City. The series, which pairs country and rock performers on the same stage, was well received by the mostly invited and mostly female crowd.
The show's highlights were Bon Jovi's most famous songs - "It's My Life," "Livin' On A Prayer," and a slow, funky version of "You Give Love A Bad Name" that was arranged much like the old Stray Cats hit, "Stray Cat Strut."
Bon Jovi members also supported Sugarland's lead singer, Jennifer Nettles, on the country group's best-known songs, including "Something More" and "Baby Girl."
The two groups remained together on stage throughout the show, and they closed things out with a joint version of "Wanted, Dead Or Alive."
Bon Jovi also introduced new material from their upcoming release titled Have A Nice Day, which is due September 20th.
Interestingly, Bon Jovi's 1994 greatest-hits collection was titled Crossroad.
