"Crush" Review 23 September 2000

A review by Chris

Here's my review by song including some of the demos I've heard.

It's my life - Too commercial sounding for my tastes. It has a catchy tune and lyrics, but it's not the best song on the album by a long shot.

Say it isn't so - Good song, but not my favorite.

Thank you for loving me - Good solid Jovi ballad that we've come to expect.

Two story town - Cool song, one of my favorites

Next 100 years - I only listened to this one once...

Just older - Another cool reveals underlying theme of album.

Mystery train - Nothing really special about this song, but it's better filler than Next 100 years

Save the world - another good ballad

Captain crash and the beauty queen from mars - In my opinion the best song on the album. Cool lyrics, catchy beat, awesome flow. This song has it all.

She's a mystery - again, i only listened to it once

I got the girl - see above

One wild night - This song could go #1

Neurotica - awesome song, reminds me of Slippery demos

You can't lose at love - would have been the best song on the album if it were on the album. Richie rocks on the acoustic and shows some classical style in an awesome solo.
