"Crush" Review 12 November 2000
5 years, is forever, but this will leave you satisfied for the Next 100 Years!

A review by Jason / theaterluvr@hotmail.com

All I can say is I've had the album since March (I ordered an overseas copy of it!) and I just can't stop listening to it, Every song on the album is a fantastic extension of the BJ of old, merged with contemporary flavor, Not that they needed it in my eyes, or many fans I'm sure, however BJ proves that they can change with the times, and stay true to the original formula! It's my Life and One Wild Night are classic, hard rocking BJ at their best, and the two "monster ballads" TYFLM and Save the World are GREAT ballads, the ONLY reason that I didn't give this a ten is that too many of the songs are in the "softer vein" of rock, not that that is bad, but BJ is at their best either serenading you, or rockin' your socks off....not necessarily in between. I will be attending the show 11/20 in chicago with 7th row tickets, I CAN"T WAIT!!!! Keep the Faith
