"Crush" Review 21 November 2000
Ridiculous hair?

A review by Scary Earthling

OK, that last review of CRUSH was ridiculous. The comments about Jon's hair was just plain stupid. The man has more than enough hair, and I think he looks pretty damn cool(not that it's important), and he is natural. Bon Jovi are NOT out dated!, as far as I'm concerned, they're better than ever. What's wrong with being a commercial rock band? Are you jealous that they make a lot of money. You sound pretty jealous. Another reviewer said Crush is not a rock album. What in the hell do you consider rock? There are different types of rock music you know. Were you expecting heavy metal?
Perhaps Crush isn't the best Bon Jovi Album, but it's one of the most enjoyable ones I've listened to all year. I wish you non fan twits would keep your shit comments to yourselves.
My favorites are:
Captain Crash-This song is wonderful. The lyrics are perfect, and I'd like to see the guys do more like it in the future.

Say It Isn't So-This song is ear candy. Sort of a mix between Bowie and the Beatles. I don't know why people can't see the beauty in it.

It's My Life-I just want to jump up and down every time I hear it. It's pop rock perfection.

Next 100 Years-Another infectious song with a hint of the Beatles. Probably the best rock song of the new millennium.

She's A Mystery-This is a beautiful song, and My all-time favorite Bon Jovi ballad.

Well those are my five favorite from Crush. I really like the rest as well, and some of the demos I've heard are wonderful, like "Stay".

I almost feel sorry for all of you Bon Jovi haters, because they're gonna be rockin' for however long they wish, and you're gonna have to put up with it. Now that makes me wanna laugh!
