"One Wild Night: Live 1985-2001" Review 25 June 2001

Great!!!

A review by Goujons!

After reading the review made by Kristian (24 June) I must say that I am shocked. How can a fan of 10 years say that OWN is rubbish? I think it gives a true reflection of the band, especially because it contains songs like "Runaway" and "In and Out of Love" from way back when the guys were still full of youthful energy. OWN is great also because it has "One Wild Night" which very much represents the new BJ.

Perhaps they did miss out some of their greatest hits but be realistic, you can only have so many songs on one album!!

I am quite a new fan, and before I saw them live at Hampden Park, Glasgow, they weren't (admittedly) my favourite band. The concert however was so packed with energy and every time I put OWN on, it brings back that unforgettable buzz.

I do hope however that the next album they release will contain some new material, to show all the critics out there that BJ are perfectly capable of producing new songs which will, hopefully, be remembered as songs lie "Livin' on a Prayer" and "Bad Medecine" have been.

Rating: 10/10
