"One Wild Night: Live 1985-2001" Review 4 August 2001
Flagging

Poor

A review by ROK, regarding the review by AMY / ross_o_keefe@hotmail.com

The reason I chose 3, was because there were only 3 songs I actually enjoy listening to, "Livin' on a prayer", "Wanted dead or alive" and "Rockin' In The Free World".

Now for Amy, "Rockin In The Free World" and "I don't like Mondays" are NOT b-sides, they're not Bon Jovi songs at all.
"Rockin'" is a cover, it's a Niel Young Song and "Mondays" is a Boomtown Rats song.

Now back to business, I've been a Bon Jovi fan for 10 years just about, and so I take each New BJ album excitedly wanting to hear the material, and I particulaly love live albums!! But not this one.
The Album is called "One Wild Night LIVE", even though "OWN" doesn't even appear live, but as a STUDIO version, bad idea. Then we have to suffer some of the songs from the album that sound more like a BJ rehersal than a concert performance, the audience is practically dormant through "KTF" and "STBI", plus the album wasn't taken from One Wild Night, but rather from a series of Mild nights.

Lets hope the 2002 album is better than this.

Bad show
