Illusion-delusion
Well, what can I say? I wake up in the morning of the concert very excited: it was the BJ day! I drove with my girlfriend end friends to the stadium just thinking that it would be simply fantastic.I was thinking in my mind that it was the first time I had the possibility to see my favourite band live: I wasn't able to keep my back on the seat! What is happened you know very well...All other fans that have been there that night have just made enough complaints on this site, so I'll try not to imitate them, even though I agree with them. I believe that all the reasons that lead to a show so short and sad have been pointed out well...the bad organization, Jon's voice and so on. I have to say only two thing:
1)Maybe the REAL mistake was to delete the concert in Modena; it was organized by the same staff that assured to U2 150000 dancing, howling and dancing people...Italians are not quite different from other BJ fans, as I read here in other reviews. I was on the grass, near the stage, and I can assure that people there was hot (I think I lost my voice at the fourth song...).
2)After so many years far away from Italy and having cancelled a concert, maybe BJ staff and management had to be sure of making no mistake, to offer in Italy the same high level performance wich had been done in other place.
Ora voglio rispondere a chi era sulle tribune e diceva di non sentire bene.Io, da dov'ero, ad una trentina di metri dal palco sentivo benissimo, a parte la chitarra ed il basso all'inizio; le cose sono migliorate dopo qualche canzone.
