17 June 2001 - Cardiff, Wales, UK Concert Review 14 July 2001
One Wild Night!

A review by Nicky / ayatollah_@hotmail.com

The Bon Jovi concert in Cardiff was absoluetly fantastic. When the intrduction to One Wild Night came on as that went on for around 2-3 minutes. They then showed the guys ready to come out from backstage and the noise was deafening. They opened with One Wild Night as they have with every concert and that got the crowd going well. Paise your hands didn't get much atmosphere but when You Give Love A Bad Name started the crowd went wild.

When he then said he was going to sing a song caled It's My Life the noise was deafening once again. The crowd bounced all the way through the song.

During Always, people swayed their arms above their heads and it was a lovely song (my personal favourite).

Just Older was n't a very popular song but Jon used his experience to get the crowd going for the end of the song. Blaze Of Glory was a great song and had split pictures on the screen behind the stage. The song then turned into shout where you could feel the floormoving as the crowd went absolutely wild as they do for that song. Then in the first encore he sang These Days which the crowd loved and an acoustic version of Saturday Night was good. Then in the second encore they sang I'll sleep wehn I'm dead, Tequila and Twist And Shout which the crowd seemed to bounce the whole way through all three songs. He then got his cowboy hat on to sing Wanted Dead Or Alive to which was brilliant and then finally he sang Livin' On A Prayer which everyone in the stadium sang along to. That was supposed to be the end of the concert but the crowed wanted more and he sang an acoustic version of Never Say Goodbye. It was a great concert and I hope he comes back to Cardiff again.
