9 July 2001 - Minneapolis, MN, USA Concert Review 16 July 2001
Aftershock!

A review by butterflyjovi / marleygirl@jovimail.com

wow. sorry it took so long for me to review but I have took a long time to get over the shock of being at the show. I still can't believe it really happened. It was like a dream, not real. It was an unbelievable show. The setlist is all I could ever hope for. I would love to say that Always was the best for me but the problem with that one is that I was so hoping they would play it that when they did, I was shocked they did. So It was hard for me to enjoy it. In fact, for the first half of the show I was so mesorized that it didn't really hit me that I was really there.

Probably sounds strange, I know, but the song I have to say was probably the best for me that night was Lay Your Hands On Me, cuz it sort of snapped me out of my trance. It was very energized. Always, was beautiful. Jon didn't have any trouble with it at all. I'll be there for you was the other ballad and that was really something too. ANd I loved Bad Medicine when he went into shout by singing "NOW WAIT A MINITE" then stopping and looking over one shoulder and then the other shoulder and smiling big at the crowd. He's just so gorgeous! Just now, thinking about it, I get all warm and mushy inside. anyways, Richie was also incredible and I got so hoarse screaming his name for every solo he got. and whenever they showed tico on the screan I screamed for him, and when they showed dave I screamed for him. I even screamed for Hugh. they were all so wonderfull and I so can't wait to see them the next time they come my way, which I hope is VERY soon.
