17 July 2001 - Toronto, ON, Canada Concert Review 19 July 2001
Bon Jovi Rocks!!

A review by Jaime / Jaime@jovimail.com

Wow! Where do I start! lol! Flew all the way from Newfoundland for this show and I would do it all again! The boys were amazing! I got very emotional when they first came on stage. Could not believe I was there with my Jonny. They did all the classics and all my favorites(Born to be My Baby, In These Arms, I'll Be There For You) I loved it when Richie sang Stranger in this Town. It was a pleasent surprise. There were the usual crazy fanatics! A few dressed up as Capt. Crash and Beauty Queen from Mars, Others threw bras on stage and flashed the band. lol! Jon was full of energy! He had the place going crazy throughout the show. It is amazing how the Bon Jovi fans are like a big family going to a huge party! I was dancing with other fans in the aisle behind the security guy's back until he caught us and made us go back to our seats. By encore time he had just about given up and stood there and laughed at us! lol! Jon also made the show very Canadian for us! He switch the lyrics from Tequila so the audience would sing Canadian(meaning the beer Molson Canadian which is what everyone was drinking!) He cracked up on stage quite a few times! Everyone could tell he was having as good a time as we were. He did the conga line with the fans on stage and then he helped the security get them off stage with a shooing motion. I know they all wanted to stay for longer. He also danced with a fan and kissed her during Bed of Roses. She collapsed and had to be helped off the stage! I know I would have to be helped too! lol! Well that is my little note on the most amazing experience of my life! I can tell you I am going to start saving for the next tour now because I will be in Toronto again!!! Thanks to the Band for yet another great show!!!! BTW, anyone sneak a Video cam in???Love to have that to remember the show by!
