13 July 2001 - Chicago, IL, USA Concert Review 26 July 2001
One Wild Night 16 hrs from home

A review by Tiffany / LilTif123@aol.com

This was my first Bon Jovi concert, and I will go to another one again. I loved it. I don't know why people complain about setlists.. yeah I would have loved for them to play something from Bon Jovi, 7800, and/or These Days.. but they didn't and I'm still happy! Jon shakes his butt around b/c the fans enjoy it.. or at least most of us do. I love the dancing.. that just gave the show more energy. All the goofing off was cute. It makes it more interesting. And those who complain of the "cover songs" need to get over that too. Shout, Tequila, & Twist & Shout may not be theirs.. but they did a hell of a fine job on them. They were fun to sing and dance to. I heard Twist & Shout 3 times the day after.. and the original version sucked compared to Bon Jovi!

But who cares about those who complain? I loved the show, it totally rocked. I loved the sounds he made during Keep The Faith.. and all the dancing throughout. I'm not too big on Richie but it was sweet that he sang a song for his b-day. He sounded good too. All the "attacking" of Jon these girls did was funny. The whole bra on his head and Richie groping at him was so funny! And then when dancing w/a girl during Bed Of Roses.. JBJ got much of a "butt lift" I guess I could call it. His conga line looked great too! And I love the clothes, but Jon showed his chest a bit and that was nice ;)

Well that was while I was visiting some yankee family up north, now if only Bon Jovi would come to Louisiana (New Orleans would be nice) or Houston, TX.. then I would be able to go! But thank you Bon Jovi for One Wild Night!
