still in awe
ever since i can remember i have dreamed of the day that i would be able to see bon jovi, and that dream came true on July 17 at 9pm when they burst on stage to screaming fans that waited in anticipation to hear them. "one wild night" just set the mood for the whole night as bon jovi took the whole audience on an emotional roller coaster, playing fav songs, hearing Richie play solo, to the last song of the encore, everyone felt the music and the vibes given off from the band. this was my first bon jovi concert and i was put into a state of awe at just how much life the band had in them. their energy did not fade , they were still going strong right up until they left the stage to a bunch of adoring fans standing on the feet cheering them on, providing the energy the band needed to get through the night. the songs were incredible, the music has hipe and the night was so magical that it is now burned into my brain. there were numerous highlights to the concert, from the audience singing to "wanted dead or alive", to the ohhhh and whoooos of "i'll be there for you", however the two highlights for me came when bon jovi played "bed of roses" and "captain crash and the beauty queen from mars". bed of roses is one of my fav songs by them, and hearing them play it live just made the whole night worth it. all the lighters that were light, the star set stage and bon jovi's voice just made my dream came true. and then
captain crash, a fun song to dance and sing too was amazing. seeing the couple dressed up in the crowd
was pretty cool as well. at the end of the two 1/2 hour show, it was time to say good bye :( i didn't want to leave. i was on a high that would carrry me through until the next day and weeks to come. bon jovi, although 20 years young, knows how to put on a show, for ppl of all ages. the best music and the best fans made the night so magical that i will never forget it. thanks to everyone who went and felt the music of bon jovi and made this night so amazing for me. till we meet again at another bon jovi concert.
