27 July 2001 - E. Rutherford, NJ, USA Concert Review 31 July 2001
NJ GOT ROCKED!!!!!!!!

A review by CAPTAIN-KID / jbjfan77@yahoo.com

Words can't explain how great friday night was. Giants Stadium is soo big. It was a great thrill to see that place so packed with Bon Jovi Fans. Eve 6 opened and they played the same set as in Hershey. Sugar Ray was up next and they were great. They really know how to warm a crowd up. By far the best opening band I ever seen.

Then a little after 9:00 our boys came out. There was soo much energy it was unbelievable. They put their heart into every song. Highlights for me were: Raise Your Hands, Bed Of Roses, Wild In The Streets, ALWAYS, Someday I'll Be Sat. Night, and Twist And Shout. When the band left after the first set and came back to play Always, it was amazing. It's the first time I ever heard them play it live. What a treat!!! Raise Your Hands and Wild In The Streets are just amazing live. These two songs just make you wanna go to a club in Jersey and dance. Overall this concert was the best I've ever seen.

I know from now on that when i go to see Bon Jovi, It will be in New Jersey. I saw them in Hershey the other week, and Giants Stadium was 50 times better. Being in their backyard and seeing all the diehard fans was awesome.
Till next time,
Chad
