10 June 2001 - Dublin, Ireland Concert Review 23 October 2002
What Rock is Really About

A review by David Gorman / phonics62@hotmail.com

I know its a year and a half since this concert took place, but its only recently that i discovered this site.. even though its a year and a half since the show it still stands out as one of the most electrifyingconcerts ive ever been to. Bon Jovi really mixed there set list that night and it was unreal. opening with one wild night followed by raise your hands just sent the crowd mental, with richie taking the lime light for his amazing guitar solos. Bon Jovi are the greatest live band around and a stadium really seems to be there natural habitat. there songs fill every corner of the stadium, and just seeing forty thousand people punch the air as the sang the chorus of livin on a prayer is a sight that i will never forget.it was an unforgettable night and finishing with one by U2 was a nice tribute to the irish band. Bon Jovi are the last of the great 80's stadium rock giants who can really pull off an electric live show. so i'll see you up the front at the next show............. Blood on Blood
