3 March 2003 - Albany, NY, USA Concert Review 5 March 2003

A review by Anty30

This was the 10th time I've seen Bon Jovi, and, as usual, they did not disappoint. We had great seats, on the left side of the stage, right next to the platform Jon came out on a few times. We were able to get awesome pictures. He was just a stone's throw away. I agree that they seemed a bit down. Obviously that was because of the death of David's dad, but also because Jon has been ill. He coughed in between songs, and had to continue to wipe his nose throughout the show. Considering his cold, he sounded great. I really felt as though he struggled to get through some of the material, but he stuck it out and did not disappoint at all. Gotta give them all credit for not canceling. I would have loved to hear Never Say Goodbye and Bed of Roses, but it was a treat to hear Runaway. Seeing them at Giant Stadium will be a great event. It's the place that gives them the most positive energy. I saw them there on the last tour, and can't wait to see it again. Cheers.
