MONDO disappointment
The title just about says it all. I have been a HARDCORE Jovi fan for many years now, and have heard nothing but bragging about how amazing their live shows are. Apparantly that was before Jon's voice was shot. Between relying on the crowd to sing half the songs, and the vocals being extraordinarilly weak, I have to say that I feel very let down. The six or seven songs they did play well ("Just Older," "Born To Be My Baby" etc.) were very awesome and totaly fun, they just did not make up for the weakness of the rest of the show. Props to the other guys in the band as Dave, Tico and Richie carried the show from start to finish very well. I am glad I finally saw them, but after having done so, I know I will never have to again. |
