22 May 2003 - Madrid, Spain Concert Review 23 May 2003
UN-BE-LIE-VA-BLE!

A review by JBJ_madrid / jesusyague20@hotmail.com

I don't remember the songs they played, so i can't write a setlist, not tonight. But it was simply...amazing!!! From the first notes of BOUNCE, BAD NAME, WILD IN THE STREETS, PRAYER ( with a special kind of feeling) EVERYDAY, and the great UNDIVIDED, great way starting it as slow as the end of the song.
After that incredible start, they continued with KEEP THE FAITH (an incredible version, breathtaking), WANTED (as smart as ever, richie played as only He can play), BLAZE OF GLORY, THE DISTANCE, IT'S MY LIFE (probably the most aclaimed after PRAYER), RAISE YOUR HANDS (with everybody with their hands up in the air), JUST OLDER, a wonderful I'LL B THERE FOR YOU (Richie this time was... ...words can express it!) everybody was crazy about it, singing, and the ohohohohohhoh was neverending!!! When Jon said 1, 2, 3....evebody started to shout, nananananana yeah!! it was the best BORN TO BE MY BABY i've ever listened to, when the song finished, Jon kept on encouraging the audience to go on with the nananananana a magic MISUNDERSTOOD, I'LL SLEEP WHEN I'M DEAD, and everyone got crazy when the first notes of THESE DAYS started to be played!!! I don't remember the oprder of the songs. Then CAPTAIN CRASH, TWIST AND SHOUT (incredible again, Jon and the guys were all flipping with the people) BAD MEDICINE And in the end SHOUT, when we all were so exhausted we couldnt even sing one more song. They finished when they had to. Perfect!
