22 May 2003 - Madrid, Spain Concert Review 24 May 2003
Raise your hands if you were there

A review by Elena / serrano_elena@hotmail.com

THe concert was great from the beginning to the end. The arrival of the band in the vans put the first signs of excitement in the audience. The audience was so eager to see the band that we would have sung ourselves just to heat up the atmosphere.
Jon was, as always, the showman. Richie the great companion. I still have the sound of his guitar in my mind. Everytime i see him, he is a better guitarrist. It seems that he is like the wine, the older the better. When he was singing Iīll be there for you, everybody was amazed not only about his qualities for playing the guitar but also about his voice.
David and Tico were great. I missed their solos and more interaction between them and Jon
THe setlist was great but I missed some classics like Lay YOur Hands on Me and Always. I didnīt understand why they included Captain Crash especially in the bis because nobody knew the lyrics and that cooled down the atmosphere, thank god they played Bad medicine and shout later to heat up again.
Why didnīt they use fireworks??
The last thing, is THANK YOU jon FOR TRYING TO COMMUNICATE IN SPANISH, people really appreciates that.
We are already waitint for Bon Joviīs return.
