8 June 2003 - Ostend, Belgium Concert Review 9 June 2003
A great show but what was wrong with the crowd ?

A review by Kevin / kannoot@yahoo.com

Hey,

First of all it was a really great show. The band and especially Jon were really in the mood. A lot more than when I saw them in Schalke. Jon and the whole band really did their best to entertain the 30 000 people.
But almost all the people I could see, were just standing there and doing nothing. They almost didn't "raise their hands". They almost didn't even sing. When Richie sang "I'll be there for you" and he let the people sang, I heard almost nothing.

Only the people who were standing backstage brought a good atmosphere. So a big applaus for this people. I'd guess all the rest thought they were on a funeral.

Bon Jovi gave us a great show. It was an evening with a lot of surprises. I saw a unique show(the totally unexpected song I'die for you, the man crossing the stage), a band with a lot of energy and great songs. The only disappointment of the evening were the people. Even the band felt that there was something didn't right.

When they left the stage for the first time there was only a weak "We want more." Three years ago it was much better.

But I'm glad that I saw a great show and I hope that the band still wants to come back.

Greets
Kevin
