8 June 2003 - Ostend, Belgium Concert Review 11 June 2003
good show, but i liked the werchter concert better 2years ago

A review by priscilla / priscillavdb@hotmail.com

hello,
this was my 3rd bj-concert,but for the first time i was in the pitt. thanks to Annelies who gave me her fanclubcard! you made my day girl!
So, there I was, 2nd row on the right of the stage, great view! and my camera had a zoom :-) but unfortunately the film was finished after 7 photo's:-( stupid me, should have bought another film!
anyways, I liked Peter: it's not so difficult to get the crowd going when you play covers, but i can understand that since he doesn't have many songs of his own yet. His has a nice voice though!
Glad to read that someone beside me liked Arid! I know all their songs and I liked them a lot. But all the other people didn't, probably cause they didn't know their songs!
Then finally they came, opening the show with bounce was a great idea! they played Wanted, my favourite! you can read the setlist in the other reviews.
one serious complain though: were the hell were the songs from these days?????i know they don't play a lot of that record, but not even one???? next time i'll bring a banner that says: play these days please! (It worked for the girls with the I'd die for you-banner :-)
Jon's voice was good, but it has been better. It looked to me as if he had a cold or something...
i didn 't see a lot of richie cause i was at the other side of the stage, but dave smiled a lot and was very interactive with the people! Even hugh smiled when 2 dutch girls in front of me were throwing confetti.
afterall, it was a good show, allready waiting for the next one...I regret not going to any concerts abroad (stupid exams!!!!), maybe next time
greetz everyone
