13 June 2003 - Munich, Germany Concert Review 16 June 2003
I Missed The Rain... :o)

A review by bonjovimaniac / t-coon@gmx.net

Munich was my second concert on this tour. First Gelsenkirchen and then Just Munich.
Two Years ago I was always in Munich and it rained so hard. Jon remembered all the people as he said

"Last time I was here it rained so hard. As we played and the rain set in I was joining one of the greatest moments in my life."

The people who were there know what a great night it was. It's incredible to know you were joining one of the greatest shows in Jon's life. But anyway...

There were a lot of songs I didn't expect and lot of them I hadn't heard live, yet. LAY YOUR HANDS ON ME was one of them. I wished to hear that song. The second song (one of my favorites. I don't why???) DIAMOND RING. I think only me and my friend were shouting as they started to play this wonderful song. I hadn't heard this song live before.

Also the enlarged version of KEEP THE FAITH was live completely new for me. With a not exactly short version of SYMPATHY FOR THE DEVIL the song lasted more than 10 minutes I think. You could see the guys especially Jon were joining the show. He talked a lot. And it was fun to see them.

And then there was SOMETHING TO BELIEVE IN. I think it was and it will be the only time that this song was played on the Bounce Tour 2003. The song it began to rain (in 2002). The clouds seemed to be it started to rain again but it unfortunately not began. I think he choose this song in rembrance of the concert on the 30th of June. Respect!

ROCKIN' ALL OVER THE WORLD I also heard live for the fist time. A great extended version of a great song. Like HEROES (Bowie Cover) a great song. To this song he said "Here's a song I wish I wrote."

And at the end to close this wonderful show they played THESE DAYS. A song I never heard live before. Very spectacular to hear it although you could see and hear that Jon's voice was extremely going down. Respect! Very professional. The guys went on their limits and they gave all they had. Just Great!

For sure it was the greatest show of the whole Bounce Tour. The setlist, the stadium and the audience. Just Different! Munich will be the greatest place to join a BJ show. For everybody.

Already it is hard to know that they won't come back maybe for 2 years. Perhaps 2005 they'll come back again with a new, fresh and great album.

So we'll See Ya
THX guys

You gave me SOMETHING TO BELIEVE IN
