MOST AMAZING NIGHT OF MY LIFE
Wow what an amazing night. I have been to 5 Bon Jovi converts in Ireland and until Friday night I thought that nothing could have even come close to the concert in 2000 when we had thunder and lightning but yet again the boys proved me wrong. With songs like Born to be my baby, Someday I’ll be Saturday night, Diamond Ring and Raise your hands then it just had to be an amazing night. It definitely made it worth the effort of starting to queue at 8.30pm on Thursday night. Just to be in the second row right in front of Jon’s mike was just mind blowing. Being a Bon Jovi fan since 1986 I am amazed at the energy and enthusiasm they still put in to every show. And unlike most bands they just keep getting better and better with age.
Richie’s version of I’ll be there for you was just totally outstanding its good to see him get some of the lime light as he has a fantastic voice and really proved it on Friday night. It’s a pity that poor Tico was hidden behind a drum kit all night cause he is such an amazing guy and so funny at times. And then there is Dave wow what an amazing performer even though he needs to be rooted to one spot all night you never get the chance to forget he is there his keyboard playing is just something else.
Jon seemed slightly off when he first came on stage and his vocals cracked a little under the strain of some of the notes in Bounce but all in all he is still the most amazing person I have ever seen the way he bounds around the stage and really gets the crowd going never ceases to blow my mind. He really gave every thing he had in that performance there was nothing that could make it better. The weather was great the support band were good and the main act …………. Well needless to say they have yet again proved to be the best band on the planet.
