A review by mixed up as a milkshake and sambora_laura

flis: WOW. Last night was fantastic, it was my first bon jovi concert ever, it was great that it was in my hometown. I was a little dissappointed that they didnt do always, bed of roses or something for the pain, but they were great. I've seen some pretty good bands in the last 12 months but last night was the best yet. I thought it was cool how jon made it extra special for that kid, i only hope theyre still around in 10 years time for more kids of the future.

What a night! Second time I've seen them live, and it was as good as the first. I was absolutely HORRIFIED at the queues in and around the Molineaux, and the fact that none of the event staff or police seemed to know what the Molineaux was. let alone where all the people were meant to be going (Special thanks must go to the man who told us to wait in the wrong queue for almost an hour) But Bon Jovi were worth it.

Not too sure about Live being the right sort of support act- though I did spend the majority of their set in another queue for the Loo and a pastie. They were good,just not really Bon Jovi fan fodder. Oh well!

As for the Always/Bed of Roses thing, WHAT WERE YOU GUYS THINKING?!?!?! They have time to play Status Quo's rather abysmal one chart topper "Rocking all over the world" but manage to drop both of their signiture power ballads. They could have dropped one easily, but not the both!

But the rest of the show was great. You can't tell from my typing, but my throat is grating like sandpaper, and when I speak I sound rather like Gollum. I'd pay twice as much to see a show half as good!

Looking forward to seeing some Box-set touring next year!
