28 June 2003 - London, UK Concert Review 29 June 2003
New Joisey Bouncers Make me keep my faith

A review by Captain_Crash_London / jutiar3_16@yahoo.com

Well I just came home from my 5th Bon Jovi show and I was pleasently surprised. Before the show I was expecting it to be just a re-run of the other shows I'd been to so I wasn't expecting it to be great. Among the nice things about the show I'd have to say was the stage which I thought was the best since the Syndicate tour (oh how I wish I could turn back the clock).

A lot of the setlist was typical for a Bon Jovi show but I do feel they played too much from Bounce and Crush but the energy of the band carried the show so whatever they sang sounded great and enjoyable. I found the show to be upbeat with minimal ballads and that helped the show flow and in the end I didn't feel the 3 hours they were on stage.

I love all Bon Jovi songs but I would say I am from the Slippery/Jersey era so I do wish they didn't sing covers and actualy sang thier own, maybe older stuff. All in all I was a very happy guy at the end and would put it second best on my Jovi gigs, the best being the gig at Air Canada Centre, Toronto on 27/11/2000. Thanx Guys for a memorable evening. Good Luck in Jersey ;)
