Tonight Bon Jovi Were Saturday Night
One of the most finest live shows I have ever been to and one I would be proud to say I attended, Tonight Bon Jovi proved they were the gods of rock and gave it their all to the 92,000 crammed into Hyde Park.
They bounced their way on stage precisely on time at 7.30 and played for the shortest 3hrs in history, leaving around 10.30, breaking the curfew by 30 minutes. Don’t worry guys I don’t think anyone minded that much!!
The set comprised of roughly half of ‘Bounce’ and a few off ‘Crush’ but the rest was mainly made up of classic hits such as ‘You Give Love A Bad Name’, ‘Keep The Faith’ and ‘I’ll Be There For You’, which had excellent lead vocals by Richie.
Ray Davies joined the boys for a cover of ‘Lola’ which was just one of eight songs over the three encores and the night was rounded up by ‘Never Say Goodbye’
A truly great performance and in my opinion and one that very acts could match let alone beat!
Keep the Faith and keep rockin!
