28 June 2003 - London, UK Concert Review 30 June 2003
We BOUNCED all night!!!!

A review by Bex / no1cobblersfan@hotmail.com

This was my 3rd Bon Jovi concert and was also one of the best (was on par with Wembley 2000)! Couldn't belive how much Jon and co put into the gig considering how long they have been on tour! Sound wasn't great to begin with, and the atmosphere was pretty flat until it got dark...but that was the only complaint of the whole day! Thought LIVE were fantastic, although felt like I was the only person there who had actually heard of them! Don't think the crowd appreciated Live's music as much as they should've. Just wished they'd been on longer! Thought it was a great idea to just have 1 support act though as before, the crowd has often got restless as we've been left waiting so long to see the New Jersey boys! I was also really pleased with the extra long encore they gave us...I was really annoyed looking through the previous setlists and seeing that they had been ending the gig with Shout, so was really relieved when they came back on another 2 times after that! A band of that quality should never finish a concert like that with a cover song! So getting back to my original point was over the moon when they played "Never Say Goodbye" as the final encore. Also loved the fact they played some songs we rarely get to hear, like Blood on Blood and These Days (These Days even made me cry! Thought it was sung perfectly)
Just can't wait for the boyz to come back again!
