12 July 2003 - East Troy, WI, USA Concert Review 14 July 2003
One Sweaty and Wild Night

A review by Bounced

Joe Firstman was good. Sheryl Crow was great. Bon Jovi was, as always, the greatest show in town.

Forget what you read about Tinley Park. Jon was jumping around all night long. The guy huffs and puffs because he gives his all throughout the entire show. It is something else to see him dripping sweat during "Just Older."

This was my third concert from the Bounce tour and it was the best. The band just gets better and better every time around.

The setlist was awesome! Faith and Saturday Night were each at least 10 minutes long. It was a little difficult to understand Jon during the slow parts of those songs and These Days but it's outdoors and everything can't be perfect. I'd Die for You was a welcome surprise as was These Days (though it was sort of expected because of the internet voting). A few more songs from Bounce would have rounded out the show. Out of the three shows I have seen, this one had the least (They have been to WI twice already and I think that the summer shows bring out older crowds who may not have the new cd's, so the band caters to them a little more). I would have loved to have seen Right Side of Wrong again. Even if you don't like the song you will love the way Jon performs it. That is the only thing that would have put this show ever the top.

Overall, another great show by the greatest band on Earth. Hope to see them again soon, maybe 2005.
