28 June 2003 - London, UK Concert Review 8 January 2004

A review by maureen / maureengallacher2003@yahoo.co.uk

Hi eveybody,

I went to my very first Bon Jovi concert 27 june 2003 hyde park, and had the most fantastic time of my life!
Although the day started pretty badly when me and my friends arrived at the train station and found out that there were no return trains back to Coventry that night, we knew that we had to get there no matter what, well I did anyway this was my first concert, my friends had been five times before so maybe it was not so urgent to them to go but no, being the great friends that they are we went and stayed overnight in london, which can be exspensive but hey what the heck. I had been in the chat rooms and was told that they were on stage for 1 1/2 hours so I could not believe it when they done a three hour set and sang everything I knew except "Alway's" which is one of my favourites, also Ray Davis from the Kinks on stage to brilliant. I have been to see many bands in my time but this was the best concert I have ever attended, and I can not wait to see them again, my friend mark say's they come to England about every two years and I am counting down the days and month's already, the only sad thing was that I did not have a camera as we told we couldn't take one? we were positioned infront of the huge screens that were there, and could not have had a better view considering we were not at the front, had I had a camera I would have had the most fantastic pictures, still nevermind NEXT TIME.
I hope you enjoyed listing to my day, if you were there to I would love to hear from you.

maureen.
