8 November 2005 - Cleveland, OH, USA Concert Review 14 November 2005
General remark on reviews

A review by Elvistico / kevin.gaudeus@skynet.be

Reading all the reviews on the different shows, i'd like to make a remark.

If there are technical problems like sound drop outs or a bad sound mix or problems with the video screen, well, those are facts that BJ can't help. I mean, that is beyond their own control. Of course i understand that when you pay a lot of money for your ticket, you want a perfect show without flaws, but .. electronics just have their own lives sometimes.

If the stage or lightning isn't that great, well, that's another story, but again, the guys can't be blamed for that, because that is all programmed by computers.

What i do agree upon is the fact that when some technical problems occur, the band and jon should be so professional to keep up the energy and their willingness to give a great concert. It's true that i have seen BJ shows with high interaction levels, but also with very low interaction with the crowd, and often, you can clearly see if Jon's having a 'nice day' or a 'bad day' ... i understand when fans are disappointed in that case.

But, again... when writing reviews, make a distinction between the things that the band can control and all things out of their control. AND, stop writing about how great Jon looks. That won't make a better concert!

Greets,
Elvistico
