12 November 2005 - Omaha, NE, USA Concert Review 15 November 2005
Concert was incredible!

A review by BonJovi4EVER / donsmom1996@yahoo.com

I went to the show with five other women who mainly went because I was such a big fan. After seeing the show, I have successfully converted every one of them to a Bon Jovi fan. This was only my second Bon Jovi concert, but I've been a fan since Runaway hit the airwaves. I couldn't see Bon Jovi before because my parents were strict and wouldn't let me go to to a concert until I was 18. That was 15 years ago and I've been to 20+ concerts since. My point is that of all the concerts I've been to, Bon Jovi is still the best. The band are true performers and you can tell they love to make music. They have the whole package: incredible soulful songs that also rock, a singer who just gets more incredible with age (yes, I was drooling like every other woman in the arena; Richie gets better with age, too, I'll admit) and multi-talented band who enjoy each other and will give you 500% every show. To me, Last Man Standing is an auto-biography of them, too. They don't need fancy pyrotechnics, explosions and dancing girls. Their music is strong enough that people come to hear the music, the performance they put on is just icing on the cake. I loved the simplicity of the stage, the set list was awesome. And what's nice is even though they post the song list from each show on their website, you really didn't know what to expect. That was fun! I am probably in the minority, but I enjoyed the acoustic sets of the songs. This Left Feels Right is the type of CD you want in a smokey jazzy kind of bar. But I felt the songs the band chose to play acoustic were wise choices because they were slow enough that it didn't sound too off kilter for fans. I was ready for more from Bon Jovi. The show wasn't nearly long enough! I can't wait for them to come back. It was great to see people bring their kids, too. I think in this age of digital music, the next generation needs to see what a true rock band is like. Thank you Bon Jovi for a show I will never forget. See you next tour!
