A review by Mr. Must See TV

all in all, i have to say that this concert was good but not great.

first off, this critique has nothing to do with the band's performance. they are great performers and just get better with age. however, my criticism has more to do with their setlist.

i understand that you are trying to plug the new album, but they played SEVEN songs from the new album, including welcome to wherever you are, which is probably the weakest song on the album.

also, why does the band insist on playing older and captain crash when they have great classics like keep the faith, bed of roses and better songs in general in everyday and bounce to choose from.

in addition, they have to stop playing these altenate versions of songs like always and such as they appeared on that awfully conceived acoustic album of theirs.

on the positive, it was great to see them play one of his holiday songs.

on a scale of 1 to 10, i have to give this concert a 7. it was good, but not great.
