Amazing night
Unfortunatly an amazing night started off extremley poor due to the totally inept stewerding outside the stadium in the gold circle queue.it was pandemonium and could have ended in a riot.
We entered the stadium around 16.30 and took our place in the inner gold circle and pretty central about 15 foot from the stage.
first act on was a band called The Quakes i think, they were a group of lads that got to perform on stage after winning a radio competition and they did themselves proud, the vocals were a bit quiet but they did fine with the drummer standing out as a good talent.
Next up were Nickelback,i always liked the odd song from nickelback but when we found out they were supporting Bon Jovi we bought their new album "for all the right reasons".a good album with a variety of songs including Photograph,Far away and there latest release savin me(my favorite). They came on stage and played for a full hour and i thought they were awsome with chad being an excellent frontman telling jokes and getting the crowd going.
next up were the men themselves, they came on and played for around 2 hours 50 mins with a strong setlist of old and new, runaway, wanted dead or alive, keep the faith our favourites. they played dry county which was in itself worth the gate fee!! the stage and lighting was up to there usual high standards and so was the band.
a good night was had by one and all.
only downside was the queue outside and the volume could have been cranked up a little so i couldnt hear myself singing!!
