Definately One Wild Night
This being my second Bon Jovi concert, (first being Bounce)what a wild night sunday 4th June was!!!
Gekko who won the competition on radio were pretty good, good luck to them. Nickleback were also fab, I dont think Bon Jovi could have a chosen a better supporting band, they were entertaining the crowd with wisecracks and dirty jokes as well as some great music.
The weather was also glorious which set the mood and the stadium full to the brim was electric, hence the mexican wave.
As we were sat in the higher tier (T) we actually saw Bon Jovi make thier way down to the stage before most people got to see them and they waved to us all. A great start to the evening! They commenced with last man standing and to be honest I could not find Jon anywhere until half way through the song I realised he was standing in between gold circe and outer gold circle. I stood up about the third song along, I think during Captain Crash and I never used my seat again even though everyone around me remained seated, I didnt care, as they soon started standing when every else did. I could not believe the ranges of different ages who attended that concert from teens to 60 year olds, which proves class. They could not have a chosen a better setlist, the only complaint was that they missed one or two tracks from the bounce album, I could'nt understand that. The guys were of great form and I hope they come to the UK in the not too distant future! Jon did end the show with "See you soon". An excellent concert worth every penny. Next time its Gold circle for me! |
