Was seated in the middle of the pitch (where the halfway line would be)
First time I have seen Bon Jovi and they put on a solid show with loads of crowd interaction - for some reason it feels a lot better after the event when you look back.
Highlights were I'll be there for you (Richie really can't sing but the guitar solo was great) and Livin On A Prayer.
Critisisms: Didn't use the walk way at all - he went on each side once which would be dissapointing for those who lined up for it.
The light screens were a bit rubbish and the colours were a bit random.
Sound was pretty good throughout. Jovi's voice was pretty sold throughout - although I couldn't hear what he was saying when he was talking.
The only other large shows I have seen are U2 on their Vertigo tour last year and I would say U2 were better in every way slightly (use of stage, better light show, more variety of songs)
Overall a very good show though! |
