13 June 2006 - Hull, UK Concert Review 15 June 2006
OK but......

A review by Luscious

Well, having seen Jovi 9 times now, I was really looking forward to this gig with it being the last on their european leg. Understandbly the guys must be totally shattered from all theyve done and Jon i know gets hay fever really bad, as I do but i think I could have done a better job myself. He didnt have anything to say to the audience like normal and i cant believe we only had one encore. All the jovi shows Ive been to theres been at least two encores. I did hear that there was a noise time limit of 10pm but i dont think thats what happened. He didnt even introduce the band like he normally does. They played all the normal hits but i was looking foward to hearing the version of bad medicine i heard at Manchester but we didnt get that. At the end of it all, it was just a quick goodbye, then gone. I hope doing this extra gig wasnt down to greed cos they obviously cant cope anymore with so many dates.

The venue itself was good though as manchester was such a fa*se so to say, queued for everything, didnt queue once at this venue.

All in all the songs that were played we did enjoy, just not up to the usualy jovi standard and thats what i payed for.

Better luck next time.
