Arriving at Punchestown for my first EVER concert,with my 3 cousins,and dad,i could see the stage over the heads of 1000's of walking people...at the red gate que,we found a spot and sat down,waiting for 3 hours utill the gates opened,to one of the BEST days EVER ! After 2 1/2 hours the que slowly began to move,when we got to the gates,we made our way to the grounds of Punchestown race-course ! There we had our tickets scanned,and got to keep them as a memrobelia ! 1000's of people stood queing at shops,while we ran ahead to get our spot,we were about 18 ft away from the golden circle,but that soon changed as people began to squish up ! DC Tempest,were just there to kindof,be there...Kid Rock were good,got the crowd goin,but the biggest let-down was razorlight,they didnt talk to the crowd at all ! As 8 o' clock neared,it was only half an hour untill what we were all waiting for ! We had brought a large gym ball,to throw around the crowd...as we waited anxiously,the time got nearer and nearer...at 25 past 8 we decided to start our jovi chant,not many people joined in,but it was good fun,at this point my heart was racing,i just wanted to scream ! Then Tico Torres came out stepped up and the crown went WILD,next to come was David,following Richie,at this point now i coulndt hear myself,the intro to Lost Highway started,Jon came out and I was screaming so hard,i thought i was going to puke ! ! !The buzz was Phenominal,we quickly released the ball into the crowd,and it imediatley went flying down to the golden circle,i could seee Jon smiling,and pointing at it,it made me burst open with hapiness ! All through the night i was running on adrenaline ! In these arms was WOW,in the chorus just before Richies solo,a lucky fan got the once in a life-time chance to run up on stage,she fell,crawled onto Jon,and MAWLED him,the poor chap,it was sooo nice the way he kept telling the sec.guards to stay away ! Livin on a prayer was AMAZING...together,Bon Jovi and 70,000 people sang the chorus 4 times,and i felt like i couldnt scream anymore,just then,Jon shouts..."Sing it from my favourite place in the world" the crowd went MAD,we all knew he wasnt messing,he's been on record for saying it so many times,we knew it was true,so we (once again) belted out the words! They went for a break leaving us awestruck,then came back to sing another 5 songs...they then left again,this time we thought they were gone,but Jon came out of the spotlight to sing "These Days"...it was magical,at that point a tear(or two) came to my eye !

Then the night came to an end,Bon Jovi had gone,and i knew i wouldnt see them again for at least a year,thats when it really hit me,how much i LOVE these people...we walked for miles to get a taxi...100's of cars and busses passing us,we didnt care we just kept walking and walking talking about how Jon did his little jokes,how Richie prefomed his solo's,how the crowd were mental...all memories of the best day EVVVVVVVER ! Thanks for reading my extra long story...but only a Bon Jovi fan would know how it feels to see them in concert ! AMAZING...!
