WOW!
I've always enjoyed Bon Jovi, but this was the first time I'd ever attended one of their concerts. After buying the DVD of the Crush Tour, and watching it 100 times, my husband and I just HAD to go to see them live! And we're OVER 44. I've been to many live concerts in my day, but this one was just so much FUN! The crowd was all ages, and everyone was rockin! The guys looked like they were enjoying it as much as we were. The energy was very high, the music was awesome. We'll certainly be going back for more next time Bon Jovi plays Phoenix.
As for the VH1 fiasco.... there was a definite satelite problem. Some sort of delay between the audio and video. Too bad. I was disappointed when I viewed the tape I made. But those of us who were there can tell you... Bon Jovi really cranked it up a few notches once the cameras were gone. Jon said they made him nervous. I hope no one will be put off in buying tix to this show because of the VH1 thing. The guys still rock. The show was a major breath of rockin' fresh air.
