28 April 2001 - Salt Lake City, UT, USA Concert Review 30 April 2001
BEST EVER

A review by PAUL / PAULBONKISH@HOTMAIL.COM

This show was definitely the best I have ever seen. The band sounded they best they ever have. I took along a friend who really was not a Bon Jovi fan, but I he was very impressed and said it was the best concert he has ever been to. Many people say the band is "washed up." Well, I think Salt Lake proved that theory wrong, because there was not an empty seat in the house. It was SOLD OUT!!! My favorite part of the show would have to be "Wanted Dead or Alive." He said he had worked hard all night and wanted the crowd to sing. It was unbelievable. I still get chills thinking about it. I also thought "Keep the Faith" was great with the "Sympathy for the Devil" added into it.
I also want to give props to their sound crew. As everyone in Salt Lake knows, most concerts sound like crap in the Delta Center because it was built for basketball, not concerts. I have been to many, many shows the have sounded horrible because the sound crew may not have been paying attention. So I think their sound crew did an amazing job.
I hope to seen them again soon. The show was unf**cking beleivable.
