2 May 2001 - Dallas, TX, USA Concert Review 5 May 2001
Rockin in the big "D"

A review by JBJsAngel / jbjsangel@vh1.com

I had just got in my seats when SR-71 took the stage. They got the crowd prepared for the Jovi crazyness. After they left the stage it was time to prepare for Bon Jovi. The speakers were playing all sorts of tunes & everytime a song was over the crowd went wild hoping it would bring Bon Jovi.
When they finally took the stage everyone was up and had their arms in the air. Jon introduced us to his Church Of Rock N' Roll ( for the newly converted) Richie was a wild man on the guitar and the screen above them gave special addititons to the songs. In Blaze Of Glory they playd Jon BOG video in the background and you could hear the gasps from all the woman in the audience. It was great. TOwards the end of the show Richie & David were dragging Jon off the stage telling him it was time to go but Jon broke free and pleasured the crownd with a couple more songs. Everyone got a kick out of Shout and the crowd was in awe when they sang Born To Be My Baby. It was a great night. Afterwards you could hear the speakers booming with various Jovi songs.
The woman behind me had followed BJ since Arizona and had a cute sign saying "welcome To the REAL religion, the religion of ROCK N ROLL"
Oh ...and Jon was so full of energy from the jumping jacks ,microphone spins and yes ...even the spilts (well what you could technically call the splits)Tico was busy pundin away at the drums and David Bryan's playing was what any fan could ever dream of....See Ya In Jersey ,Boys !
