CLEVELAND ROCKS with Sambora's Support
CLEVELAND ROCKED
Last night I had the opportunity to see a group I have enjoyed listening to for years. Unfortunately, I have never seen them before. Yesterday, May 5th, I called up Ticketmaster to see if there was any availablility, because I heard it was sold out. Fortunately, tickets had just been released and I had the pleasure of sitting four rows from the stage. It has been said that in order to appreciate the music on their albums that you need to see them live.
Bon Jovi is special. Jon lights up the stage with his winning smile, spunk, and voice. Richie is magnificent with the multiple guitars he plays and funky hats. So these are the obvious things that have made Bon Jovi the success that they are. What needs to be pointed out is that Richie is the key. He could win "Best Supporting Actor" because he enhances his lead singer. Without him, the group would not be the world class talent it is. I am glad to see them together after all these years. Don't change what is definitely working.
As for the concert, The Gund Arena was jammin'. They gave a great finale. No one wanted to see it end. It was so much fun."Shake it up baby...Twist and shout..." Jill Marie
