5 June 2001 - Amsterdam, The Netherlands Concert Review 6 June 2001
Amsterdam rocked on it grounds

A review by Stratotommy / stratotommy@hotmail.com

After a busy day at work, I went to the stadium grounds I was just in time to see Kane ( a Dutch local act) open up for the guys. After Kane came Anastacia as a suprise during Cowboys and Kisses Richie showed up on stage. After she closed with I am not so tough (?) The crowd was waiting for
the greatest rock and roll band of the planet :-)

It was 20:45 as the guys started to open with one wild night, and what a night it turned out to be. The next song was Raise your hands, Sigh...They keeped the tempo up all night with a good mixture of old and new songs. From It's my life to You give love a bad name. From Captain Crash (with out the Crash story in the middle) to Sleep when I'm dead (featuring Dancing in the Street) From I got the girl to Something to believe in. During the encores Jon wanted to start playing Wanted dead or alive but the crowd took over and song the whole verse.

It was a great show and I cannot wait for the what will happen tomorrow (today june 6th)..It was safe to say that Amsterdam Rocked on its grounds this night and it is going to rock some more tomorrow night (tonight)

Song they played (not in the right order):
One Wild night; Raise your Hands; You give love a bad name; Captain Crash; I got the girl; Born to be my baby; Hey god; Something to believe in; Blaze of Glory; I'll sleep when I'm dead (featuring Dancing in the streets) Bad medcine (featuring shout); Keep the faith; Livin' on a prayer; It's my life; In these arms; Wild in the streets; Just older; Lay your hands on me; Someday I'll be Saturday night; Say it isn't so; (I believe this is all, but I might have forgotten a few songs.
