6 June 2001 - Amsterdam, The Netherlands Concert Review 7 June 2001
It was a hot night indeed

A review by stratotommy / stratotommy@hotmail.com

It was a hotnight that made us so restless. Those where the first tones Jon sang when the band was complete on stage and the party went on, where it left of the night before.

After opening with One Wild Night, thank god not the 2001 version, the band played like they did the night before Raise your hands, such a great rock and roll song. It makes one wonder why didnot play it so much before :-) In contrast with June 5th the band played a few ballads. Starting with I can't help falling in love with you which was followed by Bed of Roses. Also the band played I'll be there for you...but most of the show was up tempo. With no side steps in Sleep when I'm dead and Keep the faith. The band played the last songs which where: Tequila, Twist and shout, Someday I'll be Saturday night and Wanted dead or a live. After 23 songs the band called it a night, and it remained restless in Holland for a long, long time.

The show started at 20:30 and ended like june 5th around 23:00 or 23:30..It was a hot night indeed jon, richie, tico, dave and hugh...See you next year (hopefully)

The songs the band played: One Wild Night, Raise your hands, You give love a bad name, Livin' on a prayer, Say it isn't so, captain Crash, Just Older, I got the girl, I'll sleep when I'm dead, Lay your hands on me, Keep the faith, I can't help falling in love with you, Bed of roses, In these arms, I'll be there for you, Blaze of glory, Bad medcine featuring shout, Born to be my baby, Twist and shout, Tequila, It's my life, Someday I'll be saturday night and Wanted Dead or Alive
